The new Diver design model is a chronograph watch that runs on solar power. There is no need to change batteries because it is powered by turning light energy from the sun and other sources into electrical energy. It has a metal dial with a beautiful luster finish and a unidirectional rotating bezel. The three subdials—a 24-hour indicator at 3 o'clock, a 60-minute counter at 6 o'clock, and a small second subdial at 9 o'clock—are used to charge solar batteries. The time can be read even in the dark thanks to the Arabic numeral at 12 o'clock and the use of Luminous Light for the number, indexes, and hands.
