The stainless steel, gold-plated casing of the Orient AG0003S houses the automated winding Orient F6T22 mechanical movement. The dial sight at position 9 (the so-called "open heart" display) allows one to see the flywheel's frequency of 21,600 half-oscillations per hour. The translucent dial thus allows the entire movement to be seen from the back. In addition, this movement has a hacking mechanism that stops the second hand when the watch is set.
A mineral crystal guards the uncomplicated, flawless dial. This model's 30m water resistance ensures durability, for instance when washing hands or in the rain.
